I met Annette and Tim my freshman year, and even though I was shy they were very kind to me and immediately welcomed me to The House anytime I wanted to. In my sophomore year I needed a place to stay from the thanksgiving break till the beginning of the spring semester, and they offered their home to me for the entire three months. I felt more comfortable and at ease as each day passed, and I did not regret staying there. I learned a lot of cooking recipes, tips, and secrets from Annette, and got to build a relationship with their children which still stands. Whenever I’m with Annette and Tim right before a semester starts, they pray for me and usher me into the semester feeling supported. The House has been a home to me since leaving mine, and I am very grateful.
